Nature Attraction | Quarry Lake | Photography Spot | Outdoor Recreation
Description
Truba Quarry Pond, also known as Kenyasi Truba Pond, is a hidden natural attraction in the Kenyasi-Truba area of Kumasi. Once an abandoned granite quarry, the site has gradually filled with rainwater to form a tranquil emerald-blue lake surrounded by towering rock faces and lush vegetation. In recent years, the area has evolved into a recreational destination, attracting visitors for its breathtaking scenery, kayaking, photography, and peaceful atmosphere. Swimming is generally not recommended due to water quality and the quarry’s depth, but the pond remains an excellent destination for relaxation, sightseeing, and outdoor recreation.
