The Volta highlands deserve more than one rushed day, so this one gives them two. A canopy walk, a zipline through the hills, and a waterfall on Day 1, then a wild monkey sanctuary and Ghana's tallest waterfall on Day 2, with a proper night's rest between them instead of two exhausting round trips from Accra.

Day 1: Amedzofe, Ote Falls & Biakpa

A morning drive into the highlands for the Amedzofe Canopy Walk, then Ote Falls and the Biakpa zipline before checking into your Volta Region accommodation for the evening. If time permits, choose one: the Biakpa Mountain Viewpoint or the Amedzofe Historic Village Walk. If time permits, choose one: Biakpa Mountain Viewpoint, a short stop at one of the region's best-known hillside viewpoints, or the Amedzofe Historic Village Walk, a guided walk through one of Ghana's highest-altitude towns and its colonial-era mission history. Overnight: Volta Region

Day 2: Tafi Atome & Wli WaterFalls

Breakfast, then a community-guided walk through Tafi Atome to meet its wild Mona monkeys, followed by the trail to Wli, Ghana's tallest waterfall, before an afternoon return to Accra. If time permits, choose one: Mount Afadjato, the Tafi Atome Village Craft Stop, the Adomi Bridge viewpoint, or the Tafi Atome Pineapple Farm.
