Some trips are about seeing a place. This one is about seeing each other: cousins meeting for the first time, elders honored the way they deserve, and a family story told out loud instead of just passed down in fragments. Ten days built around your family, your celebration, your pace, coordinated down to the different flights everyone's arriving on.
NOT INCLUDED
Flights, meals beyond those listed, room upgrades, the Kumasi extension, private venue hire and celebration production, photography and video, and community donations or volunteering costs. Want travel insurance for your trip? Ask about our referral partner, Travel World Insurance.

Package Inclusions
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome Home: Family Arrivals
The evening's welcome dinner is where the family officially reconnects: Ghanaian cuisine, music, and elders are recognized first.
Day 2: Discover Accra Together
A guided family day through the city's landmarks: Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, Black Star Square, the Arts Center, etc., ending in a family lunch that feels like the trip has really begun.
Day 3: Taste, Create, and Experience Accra
A guided food and market experience, then one family cultural workshop together: cooking, drumming, Adinkra printing- whatever pulls the group in. Optional: Private cooking class, professional photography, fashion consultation, traditional clothing, or hosted evening entertainment.
Day 4: Family Story
A hosted storytelling and legacy session, elders' voices recorded, family history put into words, a memory activity the whole family builds together, something you'll still have long after the trip ends. Optional: Traditional-attire family photoshoot, family video or reunion memory package, or naming/community welcome ceremony (subject to cultural-partner confirmation).
Day 5: Journey to Cape Coast
City / heritage tour
Day 6: Elmina, Kakum, and the Coast
The family can split into an active group for Kakum's canopy walkway or a gentler group for Elmina's harbor town, before reuniting for Cape Coast Castle or Elmina Castle and lunch together.
Day 7: Family Leisure and Recovery
A full day to just be together: either the beach, a pool, a family picnic, no itinerary pressure after two heavier days.
Day 8: Family Celebration
The day built entirely around your occasion, a birthday, an anniversary, a Thanksgiving, or a naming ceremony that welcomes the newest generation into the family's Ghana story.
Day 9: Legacy Day and Farewell Celebration
One more chance to gather everyone, review the trip's highlights together, and close with a farewell dinner, speeches, music, and the photo everyone will actually keep.
Day 10: Until We Meet Again
Coordinated departures for however many flights are leaving, at however many different times, the same care on the way out as the way in. Optional: Extend four more days into Kumasi for Manhyia Palace Museum, a kente-weaving community, and a family cultural dinner in the Ashanti heartland.
